Deep marronish red in color. The nose is blackcherry with funky vanilla-chocolate, and rich dark fruits that seem hidden behind it all. In teh mouth the vanilla and chocolate come forward with a high acidity and thick rich tannins. In the beginning it seems a bit hollow and needs some air to open when black raspberries, and other rich spices come out. Alcohol is a bit high and shows a bit on the finish.
