I really love Catavino – it’s such an informative and innovative source of information on Spanish & Portuguese wines. The food of the region is key, but it’s just as vital to know about the great wines available too. This is the place to find out!

2004 Bodegas Luberri Rioja Seis de Luberri

  • 2004 Bodegas Luberri Rioja Seis de Luberri – Spain, La Rioja, Rioja (5/16/2006)
Carbonic Maceration wtih 6 months in oak
Dark in color with a nose of oak, plums and anise. In the mouth this wine is soft with light to medium weight tannins and an overall medium acidity. Creamy wtih cranberry, and light spices and overall dry but with a light initial sweetness. Another simple wine, though I do like the weight that the oak gives it.

    3.5 grape
