I really love Catavino – it’s such an informative and innovative source of information on Spanish & Portuguese wines. The food of the region is key, but it’s just as vital to know about the great wines available too. This is the place to find out!

2005 Adega Alan Valdeorras Alan de Val

  • 2005 Adega Alan Valdeorras Alan de Val – Spain, Galicia, Valdeorras (6/30/2006)
Translucent white golden color, almost shimmering the way armor does in bright light. The bouquet is just that – a bouquet of orchids or white flowers that shows a touch of melon and hay. Texture is incredibly smooth and lovely to sip mimicking the strong orchid scent on the palate with a peculiar hint of red meat behind it. Suprising and enjoyable. Low acidity and medium body.
