Cassis comes through on the nose with chocolate, deep cherry, and pepper notes. Firm big tannins that coat the mouth along with a medium acidity. Cherry, raspberry and black berry followed by cassis make the mouthfeel a lush dark fruit mix. Minerals come through on the finish and as this wine opens the oak starts to become more apparent.
