We work hard, which can also translate to, we don’t have a life. It’s true! We eat, drink and breathe Catavino. It’s become our love, our joy, and our pain in the ass. It’s our child, an entity that has grown tremendously over the years, and we couldn’t be more proud, despite her growing pains. She’s even getting pimped out in a few weeks, so as to be up and current with the new fashion and tech trends! This is all very exciting, and we hope you’ll keep a close eye on our site so as not to miss Catavino Part IV – yet another revamp!
Yes, we love her, and we couldn’t be more proud to be nominated for 2 killer awards from the “Wine Blog Awards” for: Best Blog Writing and Best Single Subject Blog. To be honest, we crossed our fingers for the Best Single Subject Blog, but the Best Blog Writing was a true honor to be nominated for. And although we work diligently to provide the best content humanly possible, the true thanks goes out to our fabulous team of writers, who bring their knowledge, expertise and personal style to the table. We are very humbled by both nominations and are very appreciative to everyone who feels Catavino is worthy of these awards.
But now we need your help again. Until May 30th, the public can vote for the blog(s) they feel deserve to win in each of the chosen categories. Although we’d love your vote, it’s more important to us that you vote, period. Like any election, a single vote is the reflection of a choice. So please take a moment to fill out the survey here and let the world know what blogs you think deserve to win!
Transparency Alert: we were on the judging panel for 2 other categories in the Wine Blog Awards, but neither of which included our name. So rest assured, we didn’t vote for ourselves….until now 😉 Our collaboration was meant to ensure input from both sides of the “pond“.
Additionally, in lieu of the nominations, we want to share some of our favorite posts to the site. Catavino is a team effort, and while it takes a disproportional amount of time to ensure quality content is maintained, we know it’s worth it. Please have a glance at some of the better posts we feel represent this mission for quality.
