Publicize Spanish and Portuguese Wine Events in Your Neighborhood on Catavino’s Calendar!

iberian_wine_eventThis year we’ve launched the official Catavino Calendar, which intends to list every Iberian wine event around the world.  Whether there is a wine tasting in Madrid, or as far as Tokyo, we want it listed on the Catavino Calendar. Our most recent additions have included a Portuguese wine tasting in both New York and Miami. On April 21st, Viniportugal will be hosting a Portuguese wine tasting at the City Winery in New York featuring over 400 wines from 50 wineries. You can also hear Professor Michael Weiss from the Culinary Insitute of America give a trade seminar on “A Passion for Portugal”. The Miami Tasting on April 23rd will take place at the Ritz Carleton in South Beach where you can taste from over 250 wines from 30 producers. Additionally, Master Sommelier Evan Goldstein will be hosting a trade seminar on “Modern Portugal”. If you’re interested in attending either of these events as a wine blogger, please contact us at catavino.net, and we’ll get you a press pass.

Again, we can’t emphasize enough, we want your eyes and ears to please help us keep this calendar as relevant as possible. As much as we’d like to believe that we know everything at all times, the reality is far from the dream. Just drop a quick note at contact@catavino.net, and we’ll include it on our Iberian Wine Calendar. Thanks!!

Cheers,

Gabriella and Ryan Opaz

Great idea to have a calendar! much easier to find the “wright” event! just a comment… there's a spelling mistake in: Portuguse wine tasting

  • Seriously, one of the best reasons to have a blog is to have thousands of editors at your beck and call :-) Portuguese is now spelling correctly in the post, and thank you! Additionally, if you have any events you want to pass on, please do!!!

well, at the moment, in Lisbon, there's Peixe em Lisboa going on.(www.peixemlisboa.com). I went last night and I think is a lot about fancy restarants but also a very good ocasion to try some good wines and to have some classes about wine pairing. If anyone has the change to go then he/she should good. Nice food and wine experience, plus great gourmet products for sale and great great view of the Expo and the Tejo river.
