Hanging tenders

Wednesday night was a great time and our first podcast here with Gabriella my lovely wife and our friends over at Notes from Spain. Ben and Marina are a couple who live near us here in Madrid and are the authors of Notes from Spain. This podcast is different in that we talk free form a bit about how to taste wine, the wines we’re trying and the food we’re making.

Ben, Marina, and Gabriella

Then on Cuisine from Spain
we continue with a description of the food and a bit about grilling in Spain. I think this is a great relaxed chat that I hope to do again with Ben and Marina, very soon. Included here are some pictures, and a few links from the show.
Also here is a definition I found online for what exactly a “hanging tender” is!

    Hello Ryan and Gabriela,

I really enjoyed your podcast with Ben and Marina. The wine tasting technique seems really interesting. I enjoy how you compare the wines sampled alone and with foods. This is something I am slowly but surely gaining an interest in. Today I tried a temperanillo/shiraz blend which was light and smooth at the same time. Usually I associate smooth wines as heavy wines so I thought this one exceptional. I wish I could remember the name. Do you enjoy wine blends? Anyway thanks again.

I was told about your website by Ben from Notes on Spain. I'm reasearching websites for a supplement for Living Spain, the top selling magazine about Spain in the UK, which will feature the top 100 sites. (It's free, no advertising sales involved.) One section will include audio and I'd love to include catavino except that when I tried to play the podcasts non of the links worked. My system works fine as I've tried quite a lot of others. Will this be corrected?

    Regards

    Derek
