100% Tempranillo. Gorgeous floral nose with layers of dusty black cherry and dark chocolate notes. Big and lush in the mouth, with big, course tannins, medium-high acidity and spicy wood. I can pick out a touch of cherry and black raspberry but it’s tough to get behind the tannins. Great potential and I’m curious what a little time would do for this wine. 4/5

Nice dark color. Dark cherry nose with a dry wood note that is shared with chocolate and other dark spices. Full in the mouth with a softness that is nice, though tannins that are tough and woody. Acidity is medium but becomes overwhelmed by the tannins. Cherry is also apparent, but I think I would like to see how this wine develops in about 5 yrs. 3.5/5
