Reserva - Bodegas Muga
Gabriella
70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, 10% Mazuelo and Graciano. Clay/Calcareous and Alluvial. 6 months in traditional Riojan oak vats, 24 months in small oak barrels and a minimum of 12 months in bottle.Bright cherry wine with medium intensity. Great aromatic nose, showing violets, wet heart under a rich blanket of vanilla, chocolate, delicate spiced wood and black cherry. In the mouth, the wine is medium bodied, with bright acidity and firm, fine tannins. Not completely integrated as if yet, but with time, I sense this wine will relax and grow into its big britches. Nice minerality over a lattice of complex dark berry flavors. 4/5

Deep blackish purple in color with a nose that shows dark cherry laced with smoke and anise hints. Light toasted notes mix with this as the palate shows cherry and fine tannins that are very structured. Medium acidity, and a rich dense profile make this a wine that falls into the good value category. 3.5/5
