BOOK TODAY: Winning Wine Export Sales-Understanding the UK market and making the most of on-line media at LIWF

Catavino Marketing will be participating in a half day conference at the London International Wine Fair that will be a practical forum. It will ensure that delegates are provided with usable advice and ideas that can put into practice not only at the Fair but as they develop a presence in the UK market.

The opening session will start with an overview of the state of the wine world, covering all aspects from logistics to the end consumer, and will go on to tackle general and specific issues relating to export and in particular the UK market. A timely presentation of what is a challenging environment but not one without potential and opportunities for those who dare.

The second part of the afternoon will focus on new ways of getting noticed on-line through social media and social networking. Journalism is changing, as are ways of communicating your sales message in an ever crowded market place. There will be advice on how to maximise opportunities and case studies of just what can be achieved on the internet from the people who know.

The confirmed line-up of speakers includes:

Jancis Robinson MW OBE
David Cox, director Europe, New Zealand Winegrowers
Robert Joseph, international writer and communicator
Arend Heijbroek, global industry specialist, Rabobank
Vicki Arnold, general manager, Glaetzer Wines, Australia
Ryan Opaz, co-founder, Catavino Marketing
Andre Gregson, founder, Media 140

This conference is designed to be a ‘how to do it, nuts and bolts’ affair, ensuring that businesses are fully equipped to tackle this dynamic yet challenging market. Delegates will also benefit from an invaluable insight into the power of social media, an integral route to global wine sales. This really does add real value for many of our exhibitors and visitors and we hope that this will be helpful in ensuring that the LIWF is a commercial success for them.”
