The last few weeks, I have had the great fortune of spending some time in Cataluna enjoying brilliant yellow sunflower fields and the still brisk salty Mediterranean water. In short, I had absolutely no complaints. However, being that I was traipsing around the area drinking several bottles from DO Penedès, I wanted to do a bit of research as to the region itself.
