I really love Catavino – it’s such an informative and innovative source of information on Spanish & Portuguese wines. The food of the region is key, but it’s just as vital to know about the great wines available too. This is the place to find out!

Barcelona Gastronomic Tour

Barcelona Tapas TourIt’s no wonder that Barcelona has become a gourmet food hub when considering its strategic position as not only a port city, but the main thoroughfare between the Iberian Peninsula and Europe. From Sicily to Paris, and as far as Morocco, Catalan cuisine has always had a unique historical capacity to incorporate the best of other culinary cultures.

Tour Description

Spend several hours walking the streets of old Barcelona by night, discovering ancient history and rich food culture as you dine in four restaurants and bars that represent real foods from across Spain. Tapas, pintxo, wine, cheese, cured meats, cider, beer, cava, dessert, and more! See over 2000 years of history with you own eyes while tasting some of the most authentic food that the Barrio Gothico has to offer.

Itinerary / Schedule

At 18:00, we will meet in our teaching kitchen perched above the icon promenade of Las Ramblas to begin the evening with a toast, a tapa, and a brief introduction. Each participant will first enjoy a glass of our own signature wine and a snack prepared by our chef instructors before we hit the road for our 3.5 hour tour. So bring your walking shoes, cameras, and a serious appetite!
