Markets are the pulse of any Spanish city. It’s the gathering place of grandmothers eager to find the perfect catch of fish, as well as young families desiring a central location to both enjoy a glass of wine among friends and to allow their children to both socialize and play. In most Spanish cities, one can find some of the best stories from vendors, as they’ve had the rare opportunity to watch the city grow, evolve and change while selling one handpicked apple at a time. It’s a rare opportunity typically overlooked from tourists, but not only that we’ll let go.
We’ll bring you to some of the best markets in Sevilla, where we’ll teach you which produce is in season, suggestions on how to cook it, and how each produce has played a part in the culture. If you’re keen to get a story or two from the sweet fishmonger or the young girl tending her cheese, we’ll be by your side. Remember, it’s these stories that you’ll take home and share among your friends.
