Unafraid to prick the balloon of pomposity and refreshingly open to comments and contributions, the dynamic duo have very successfully broadened the appeal of wine by placing it in its wider social and cultural context.
I took a lot of pictures this year, and yet seemed to not upload as many. Here are a few of my favorites, though in fairness I still have a lot to put up from 2010. First though need some uninterrupted editing time. That said enjoy the set and let me know what you like from 2010! And know that 2011 has started off good with a new 7d, so I suspect there will be a lot of great stuff going up in the days to come!
Catavino evolved from the wanderings of an American couple who craved a radical change in perspective. In 2005 they quit their jobs, moved to Spain and dug deep into the local gastronomy.
As time passed, they expanded their focus to include Portugal, whereby sharing the heart and soul of Iberian food, wine and culture.
