Begin your day with a vivid, hands-on plunge into the culinary traditions of Portugal with a market tour and cooking class! The first hour is spent weaving through the colorful stalls of a famous fresh produce Market where you will accompany your expert Chef with more than 30 years of experience in buying the fresh products for your private cooking course. Vegetables bursting with flavor and dusted with dirt from nearby farms. Seafood of the highest caliber alongside aromatic and decadent herbs. After the market tour, you’ll return to the Chef’s restaurant near Albufeira to cook up the most iconic dish of the Algarve – the Seafood Cataplana. As the ingredients change with the seasons, each class highlights the flavor of the classics with a touch of modernism, leaving you with a picture-perfect final meal to be shared among classmates.
